Lovable Pets is the brainchild of Ellie. She has made it her life mission to make pets happy and healthy (hence her very business-like title). One of her favorite daily tasks is to greet the four-legged guests who come to visit. She is also in charge of purchasing all the food, toys, and other goodies that you will find at Lovable Pets. Her dogs Tyee and Max are the loves of her life. When she’s not at work, she’s out with the dogs, riding horses, or spending quality time with her husband Jeremy—oh yeah, the other love of her life.
Jeremy Hansen
CEO of Progress for Healthy Pets
Jeremy officially joined the Lovable Pets team in April 2009 as co-owner. His professional skills in finance and technology helped Lovable Pets expand the store into a larger location in Summer 2009. He spends every day figuring out ways to serve our customers better. But what you’ll notice most about him is that he never stops smiling. Animals have a way of doing that to a person. In his free time Jeremy is training his beagle Max to be a bird dog (hmmmm…we’ll have more to report on that later), bow-hunting, and enjoying life with his wife Ellie.

Tara became part of team Lovable Pets in December 2009. With a college degree in Equine Science, her knowledge of animal nutrition—horses, dogs and cats—is quite extensive. But what we love about her most is her gentle, loving way with animals. She loves what she does…and it shows. On her days off, Tara loves doing agility or rally with her dogs. In fact, she has a full agility set in her backyard—some of which she has hand-crafted! This photo of Tara and her dogs was lovingly taken by her husband Matt.

Mistress of Doggie Manners
Elease joined Lovable Pets in September 2010. She has three dogs Lucy, Annie, and Daunte, and three cats Nayru, Cricket, and Sadie. With such a large furry family, it’s a good thing she has extensive knowledge in dog and puppy training! Her well behaved dogs accompany her to work and enjoy meeting and greeting customers just as much as Elease does. In her work she strives to educate pet owners on all aspects of their pet’s care from nutrition and training to adequate exercise.
Jennifer McCandless
Head Mistress of Doggie Manners
When Jennifer joined the Lovable Pets team in May 2010, all of us (and our dogs) jumped up and down, tails wagging for joy. Jennifer has been teaching dog training classes since 1998. She has titled dogs in obedience, agility and conformation. Her students have gone on to earn titles in obedience, rally and agility. Jennifer is a CGC evaluator and a Teacup Agility judge. She shares her life with her four Belgian Sheepdogs Aislinn, Keavey, Blue and Callie.

Rae Traver
Head Groomer
Rae has been grooming for 7 years and has had the opportunity to learn techniques at 5 salons across the Northwest. She originally learned the trade at the SPCA in her home state of Alaska and spends a huge amount of time perfecting her art through continued education. She looks forward to competing at grooming conventions in the coming months. Her love for animals and dedication to their overall health and beauty shine through in every groom. Her fur-children (Mighite, Zulu, Ryelie) are excited to be part of the Lovable Pets family!
Katie Cerovski

Kate says she considers herself very lucky to have a job that surrounds her with so much love from the best clients ever—dogs! In addition to over five years of grooming experience, Kate brings a refreshing personality and love for her work that clearly shows. She looks forward to helping establish our new salon with the daily support of her own pets.
Jessica Tippett
Groomer
Jessica has tons of experience working with dogs and cats and her passion hasn’t waned. She enjoys a clean pet and strives to send out well-groomed animals every day. Her specialty is Miniature Schnauzers (partly thanks to her own little guy, Finn.) and poodles. Her standard poodle Sera is always ready to welcome her adoring fans. Jess has big plans for her career in the pet industry including competing in grooming competitions.
Max
Director of Doggie Relations
Max is supposed to earn his keep by greeting dogs and their people as they enter the store. However, on most days, you’ll find him snuggled in his favorite red bed by the front desk. The life of a beagle is just so hard. Hunting and chasing are what really get Max going (that, and cheeseburgers). He may just turn out to be a great bird dog yet, but he’s already our best buddy.
Tyee
Chief of Doggie Security
Weighing in at a whopping 16 lbs, Tyee (pronounced ‘Tie’) takes his job very seriously. His bark is sure to scare away the toughest of intruders. But most of the time he monitors the security cameras in the back office. Occasionally you can hear him barking away intruders through the intercom. He is full of personality and love. He is one of the reasons Lovable Pets exists in the first place. You can say he was his Mom’s muse.
