Hi, my name is Tyee. I am a two-year old rat terrier. My Mom is Ellie Whitney, the owner of Lovable Pets Bakery & Boutique in Billings, MT. If you see me in my Mom's store, you might hear me mumbling, growling and barking, but that's just because I don't know you yet-and I want to! Anyway, my Mom and I have been inseparable for two whole years. In October 2005, my mom and I moved from New Jersey to Montana. I sat quietly next to my mom in our pick up truck as we drove the four days to our new home in Billings.
I'm kind of a city dog, with my short coat and all, so I have a couple of winter jackets to keep me warm here in Montana. Well, in March 2006, my Mom was feeling sorry for me staying home all alone while she went to work every day so she brought home a surprise for me one day-a new puppy! It was the worst day of my life! The day Maxey, the beagle, joined our family started out pretty badly. I tried to bite him. I wouldn't even look or speak to my Mom. I just wanted to be alone. I was depressed. Then, as the days went by, Maxey and I started to play around more and it was actually fun. It was nice to have a brother to play with. While I'll still always be Mom's "favorite" guy, I love Maxey a lot, and I know my Mom does too.
My Mom says that Maxey and I were the inspiration for Lovable Pets Bakery & Boutique. Back in New Jersey, every weekend my Mom would take me to the doggie bakery in town for special treats. We missed doing that here in Billings. My prayers were answered when my Mom left her job to pursue her passion for providing pets with the best, healthiest, yummiest, most fun treats, toys and clothes in Montana! Maxey and I love the treats Mom frequently brings home for us from Lovable Pets Bakery & Boutique, and we know you will too!
