The cost is $17 per hour per dog. Any Dog, Any Size!  Leave the clean-up to us! Available at both our Grand Avenue and West End locations. No appointment necessary; first come, first served. Pet wash is open 9 AM – 6 PM, 7 days a week!

Background

Our pet wash was designed lovingly by Lovable Pets owners Ellie Hansen and Jeremy Hansen. We know that some pet washes can be noisy and sometimes not so clean places. We didn’t want that for our customers. Therefore, our pet wash was designed to be a private sanctuary for dogs and their owners to experience bath time in a fun and positive way. Our bath area sits in the rear of the store, in a private room with large glass windows and a glass door so dogs and owners can see out while still separated from the hustle and bustle of a busy retail store. This environment is great for nervous dogs and dogs that might not do well in loud environments with a lot of other dogs around.

Our retail store is filled with all-natural foods and supplements, and you’ll find all-natural spa products in our pet wash. We provide all-natural shampoos and conditioners by Isle of Dogs to bathers. Natural spa products are gentler on the skin and are free from synthetic ingredients, chemicals, and soaps. We feel strongly that harsh chemicals can do more harm than good when it comes to bathing, so we provide natural spa products for your pet at no additional cost.

Cleanliness is one of the top priorities in our pet wash. Each tub is thoroughly disinfected after each use, and our brushes are as well. Special rubber flooring throughout the pet wash minimizes slipping and falling for both dogs and owners. The pet wash tubs and floor are cleaned throughout the day as needed, so you can feel safe giving your dog a bath with us!

The tubs we use are called Poly-Pet Tubs. Why are they so great?

Poly Pet Tubs are constructed of durable, high-density polyethylene that is a full 1/2″ thick, making it possibly the strongest tub on the market! Thick rubber matting attached to tub floor prevents sliding and provides secure, comfortable footing for dogs to stand on. No more lifting your big dog into the tub! Our tubs come equipped with ramps with non-slip rubber matting. A special door opening into the tub is uniquely shaped to allow easier entry and exit of dogs. And, since they are not made of stainless steel, the tubs are quiet and more pleasant for both you and your dog.
